HOME REMEDIES FOR BLISTERS.

 Blisters are microscopic pockets of fluid created by friction, burning, or freezing in the upper layer of the skin. The majority of blisters are filled with serum or plasma, which is a transparent fluid (blister water). Blood blisters, on the other hand, are blisters that are filled with blood.

Blisters take roughly 7-10 days to heal and usually leave no scar.

However, they can become infected if exposed to bacteria.

If you don’t pop a blister, it remains a sterile environment, virtually eliminating any risks of infection.

Avoid kissing and skin contact with people while blisters are present. The virus spreads most easily when the blisters leak fluid. Avoid sharing items. Utensils, towels, lip balm, and other personal items can spread the virus when blisters are present.

CAUSES;

When the skin is harmed by friction or rubbing, heat, cold, or chemical exposure, a blister can form. Between the epidermis, the top layer of the skin, and the layers below, fluid gathers. This fluid protects the tissue beneath it by cushioning it and allowing it to breathe.

2. KEEP YOUR BLISTER CLEAN: This is especially important if it pops. Blisters already take a long time to heal. If you don’t want an infection to become worse, carefully wash your blisters with warm, soapy water.

3. ALOE VERA GEL: Apply fresh aloe vera gel directly to the blister and let it dry naturally. Warm water should be used to rinse it off.

4. GREEN TEA: Steep a green tea bag for 5 minutes in 1 cup of hot water. Allow the teabag to cool before removing it. For a few minutes, place the damp tea bag on the blister.

5. TOOTHPASTE: Toothpaste is beneficial because it contains baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, and menthol, among other ingredients. It can also provide immediate relief from itching.

Apply a small amount of white toothpaste straight to the afflicted region.

6. EPSOM SALT: Epsom salt has antimicrobial and properties that help fight bacteria.

Use 2 teaspoons of Epsom salt per cup of hot water to make an Epsom salt solution. Allow for a 20-minute soak in the afflicted region.

7. CASTOR OIL: Combine a cup of white vinegar and three teaspoons of castor oil in a mixing bowl. For a few days, carefully rub this solution on the blister several times a day.
